Camp Hope is located on a hillside overlooking Little Silver Lake, with 125 acres of forests, wetlands, fields and lawns.
The Upper Lodge has a large meeting area and a full kitchen and can accommodate up to 60 people for programs and eating. There is a large stone fireplace that provides extra warmth in the winter.
New siding, new roof, heating and air-conditioning are all upgrades that allow our Lower Lodge to now be available to year-round use by large groups. There are smaller meeting room available inside the building. During summer camps, the Camp Store offers clothing, snacks and other merchandise for purchase.
Overlooking Little Silver Lake, the Dining Hall can accommodate up to 200 people. A covered porch invites guests to sit a while and enjoy the view.
Eight year-round cabins are furnished with six bunk beds each, accommodating up to twelve guests per cabin. Cabins are heated and air-conditioned and each cabin has an attached bathroom with two showers, two toilets, and two sinks.
Sports Area and Picnic Pavilion
The picnic pavilion can accommodate up to 200 people and includes the use of a large propane grill and the bathrooms in the Lower Lodge. There is a volleyball court and a basketball court as well as additional lawn games in the near-by sports shed.
There are many places to worship at Camp Hope. Two favorite spots are Upper Vespers and Lower Vespers. Upper Vespers is near the top of the hill and is hidden back in the woods. Lower Vespers is a lake-side spot with an amazing view of the sunsets.
Our Swimming Pool goes from 3 feet deep to 9 feet. Guests can play volleyball, basketball, swim laps, or just relax in the clear, refreshing water.
Camp Hope is home to a few easy walking trails.
The Founder's Point Trail leads to a lookout where you can see the Pool/Boat House from the other side of the lake. The Dunkin Trail is another popular option.
